S. 558 - A bill to provide parity between health insurance coverage of mental health benefits and benefits for medical and surgical services. Bill in entirety.
HR. 1424- Tom amend the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, The Public Health Service Act and Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to require equity in the provision of mental health and substance-related disorder benefits under group health plans, to prohibit discrimination on the basis of genetic information with respect to health insurance and employment, and for other purposes. S. 1200- A bill that amends the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (IHCIA) to declare an national Indian health Policy to raise the health status of Indian and Urban Indians by 2010 to at least the levels set forth in the goals contained within the Healthy People 2010 or successor objectives, ensure maximum Indian participation in the direction of health care services to make the persons administering such services and the services themselves more responsive to the needs and desires of Indian Communities, ensure that the United States and Indian Tribes work together to ensure quality health care for all tribal members.
