FY17 Labor, HHS, Education and Related Agencies appropriations bill -- prevent funds from being used to implement the 7/22/15 OSHA memorandum regarding anhydrous ammonia and the Process Safety Management program until OSHA has carried out a formal rule making process.
Oppose Buck of Colorado amendment No. 1 to H.R. 4909, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017, requiring DoD to "evaluate the cost of different types of energy and purchase the most cost effective available."
Support exemption of retail facilities from coverage of the Process Safety Management (PSM) of Highly Hazardous Chemicals standard (29 CF 1910.119(a)(2)(i)) issued by OSHA on July 22, 2015, shall not be enforced nor deemed by the Department of Labor to be in effect in fiscal year 2017, or future years, until: the Bureau of the Census establishes a new North American Industry Classification Code under Sector 44 or 45 Retail Trade for Farm Supply Retailers; the Secretary of Labor, acting through the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health, has carried out all notice and comment rulemaking procedures and invited meaningful public participation in the rulemaking....etc."
