American Innovation in Manufacturing Act (Public Law 116-260) regarding HFC phasedown. ACCA supports a safe transition for contractors and consumers alike, given the flammable nature of A2L refrigerants, which will be replacing HFCs in the marketplace. ACCA also supports an orderly transition in order to minimize market disruptions.
ACCA supported H.R. 2868, the Association Health Plans Act which would allow associations like ACCA to provide health plans to members.
ACCA supported S. 1706 which would make permanent the 199A tax deduction for S-corporations, also referred to as 'pass-through entities'.
ACCA opposed DOE's decision to sunset ENERGY STAR for central air conditioning units and gas fired furnaces.
ACCA signed on to letters regarding Department of Labor and Treasury's proposed overtime rule regarding white collar exemptions as well as OSHA's 'walkaround rule' regarding safety inspections. ACCA is concerned with the impact these rules will have on its membership.
