Issues related to funding levels for NTC Job Corps programs and the potential impacts in various programs of cuts and changes discussed as considered in regards to Department of Labor adjusting to cuts required by sequestation and budget shortfall for Job Corps.
General education concerning the need for meaningful enforcement of the persuader reporting provisions of the Labor Managment Reporting Disclosure Act to ensure workers have complete information as required by law concerning parties paid to dissuade them from exercising their rights to collectively bargain and form a union.
HR 1120 - Preventing Greater Uncertainty in Labor-Management Relations Act - This bill would declare that determination mady by NLRB members constituting a quorom shall be void until a final judgement is entered in all cases pending before a federal court challenging the constitutionality of appointment of Board members during a recess of the Senate.
S.180, NLRB Freeze Act, a bill declaring that determinations made by National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) members constituting a quorum shall be void until a final judgement is entered in all cases pending before a federal court challenging the constitutionality of the appointment of Board members during a recess of Senate.
HR 2013 - Davis Bacon Repeal Act. A bill which repeals the Davis Bacon Act which requires that the locally prevailing wage rate be paid to various classes of laborers and mechanics working under federally financed or federally assisted contracts for construction, alteration and repair of public holdings or public works.
HR 1637 - Adjusting Davis-Bacon for Inflation Act. A bill that increases the threshold from $2,000 to $5,000 the contract requiring the locally prevailing wage rate to be paid to various classes of laborers and mechanics working under federally - financed or federally assisted contract for construction, alteration and report of public building or public works.

Title VII Sec 7003 regarding inland Waterways Directing the Chief of the Corps of Engineers, for any authorized construction or major rehabilitation project for navigation infrastructure of the inland and intracoastal waterways, to establish a system to identify and apply on a continuing basis lessons learned from qualifying projects to improve the likelihood of on-time and on-budget project delivery performance. Also provisions authorizing the Chief of Engineers
to carry out pilot projects to evaluate processes or procedures for the study, design, or construction of qualifying projects.
HR 2084 - The Partnership to Build America Act of 2013. Establishes the American Infrastructure Fund, to provide bond guarantees and make loans to States, local governments, and non-profit infrastructure providers for investments for transportation, energy, water, communications or educational facility infrastructure projects.

HR787 - Infrastructure Jobs and Energy Independence Act of 2013 - A bill that deems the draft proposed Outer Contenental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program 2010-2015 issued by the Secretary of the Interior to be approved as a final oil and gas leasing program under the Outer Contenental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA). The bill also deems the Secretary to have issued a final environmental impact statement for the Program under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA). It futher
specifies revenue sharing percentages for sums received from leasing offshore pursuant to this Act, including 30% for producing states and prohibits revenues collected from leases prior to this Act's enactment from being affected by this Act.
