- Distributed to the members of the Missouri congressional delegation a summary of hospital issues that may be discussed during the August recess.
- Corresponded with a member of the Missouri congressional delegation regarding a request for MHA review of a draft letter to Dept. of Health and Human Services officials. The draft letter asks for expedited action against certain pharmaceutical manufacturers which were referred to the HHS Office of Inspector General by the Health Resources and Services Administration for alleged violation of federal standards governing the 340B drug discount program.
- Corresponded with a member of the Missouri congressional delegation regarding a requested review by the Missouri Hospital Association of proposed legislation concerning Medicare payment and supervision standards for physical therapy assistants.
- Corresponded with a member of the Missouri congressional delegation regarding his co-sponsorship of the Senate version of the Provider Relief Fund Deadline Extension Act.
- Corresponded with a member of the Missouri congressional delegation to provide requested information regarding Dept. of Health and Human Services spending and reporting deadlines for federal Provider Relief Funds.
