2. Educated policymakers on the rapid advances in electrical power generation and carbon dioxide management technologies;
3. Educated policymakers on consensus Roundtable recommendations with regard to regulation of greenhouse gas emissions;
4. Expressed concern regarding suggestions that EPA should regulate greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act;
5. Supported legislation focused on solving hurdles to transport and storage of carbon dioxide and enhanced oil recovery (S. 2144);
6. Supported putting produced water from oil and gas operations to productive use (Supported H.R. 902/S. 1116);

2. Opposed the current Congressional moratorium on opening the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf for oil and gas exploration and extractions;
3. Opposed congressional efforts to maintain a moratorium on commercial oil shale development in Western states;
4. Opposed legislation to force domestic oil and gas producers to give up federal leases prematurely (H.R. 6251 and related legislative vehicles);
5. Supported pro-domestic energy production legislation, including all provisions of S. 2958 and H.R. 6384;
6. Opposed Congressional efforts to repeal the Mineral Leasing Act's deferred bonus bid system for federal coal leases;
7. Continued educating policymakers on the importance of assuring full and responsible implementation of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 including: Section 368 (Western Energy Corridors); Section 1221 (Designation of National Interest Electric Transmission Corridors); Section 369 (Oil and Tar Sands Leasing);
