HR 7235 - Substance Use Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Services Block Grant Act of 20222 - this legislation reauthorizes and renames the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant
HR 7234 - Summer Barrow Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Act - authorizes or reauthorizes more than $900 million in funding for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA programs to fight against the substance use disorder epidemic. This includes Sober Truth on Preventing Underage Drinking (STOP) Act programs.

S. XXXX - A bill to amend the Controlled Substances Act to modify the definition of counterfeit substance and for other purposes. This bill has not been introduced, so it does not have a bill number. The potential bill would introduce a definition of counterfeit fentanyl pill and give expanded law enforcement authority for dealing with he issue. The bill would establish a day of awareness in May to help promote educational efforts around the issue
