Implementation of Section 13 "Tire Pressure Warning" of the Transportation Recall Enhancement Accountability and Documentation (TREAD) Act (PL 106-414); educating on the positive efficacy of direct tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), implementation of Section 32703 of the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) (PL 112-141), requiring DOT to make a determination on requiring direct TPMS on motorcoach vehicles and related report language in FY16 Transportation Appropriations Legislation; National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) aftermarket standards/guidance on TPMS maintenance; and NHTSA state inspection "best practices" criteria relating to Periodic Motor Vehicle Inspections (PMVI). Implementation of Section 24115 of the FAST Act (PL 114-94) and TPMS provisions in Senate FY17 THUD (S.2844).
