Carried Interest - lobbied against changing the tax treatment of real estate partnership carried interest compensation from capital gains to ordinary income.
H.R.2775 - "Remote Transactions Parity Act of 2015" - lobbied to require remote sellers (i.e., sellers who make remote sales in a state without a physical presence) to collect and remit sales and use taxes with respect to remote sales sourced to such states.
Business Interest Deductibility - lobbied to retain the deductibility under the tax code for interest paid by businesses on their debt obligations.
Commercial Building Energy Efficient Tax Deduction (179D)- lobbied to extend the energy efficiency tax deduction for commercial buildings.
