COMPTEL supports the provisions of this bill that prohibit manipulation of caller identification information.
US House of Representatives
H.R. 400, Protecting Consumers through Proper Forbearance Procedures Act
COMPTEL supports amending the Communications Act of 1934 to prevent the granting of regulatory forbearance by default.
H.R. 1258, Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009
COMPTEL supports the provisions of this bill that prohibit manipulation of caller identification information.
H.R. 3458, Internet Freedom Preservation Act of 2009
COMPTEL supports the provisions of this bill that allow telecommunications carriers to engage in reasonable, nondiscriminatory network management.
H.R. 3646, Broadband Affordability Act of 2009
