Implementation and funding of the 2016 reforms to the Toxic Substances Control Act [P.L. 94-469]; S.623 - No IRIS Act. BASF supports science-based, transparent, and stable regulatory processes, along with increased EPA funding, staffing, and regulatory efficiency to ensure safe, sustainable chemistries reach the market in a timely manner.
H.R.5061 - Counter-UAS Authority, Security, Safety, and Reauthorization Act.
S.1337 - Cybersecurity Information Sharing Extension Act.
BASF supports FAA designation of chemical facilities as critical infrastructure, the use of countermeasures against unauthorized drone flights, and policies that strengthen physical security, cybersecurity, and safety across the chemical supply chain.
S.351 - STEWARD Act; H.R.4109 - Recycling and Composting Accountability Act; H.R.2145 - Recycling Infrastructure and Accessibility Act. BASF supports policies that promote recycling and composting and improve recovery and recycling infrastructure, rather than banning or taxing specific products.

BASF supports policies that reduce plastic pollution in the environment, including pollution from nanoplastics and microplastics.
