S.2646: Veterans Choice Improvement Act of 2016 language focused on VA provider agreement
AHCA monitored and lobbied on issues relating to the February 25, 2016, Markup of House VA Committee Chairman Millers Draft legislation, to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to enter into agreements with certain health care providers to furnish hospital care, medical services, and extended care to veterans. We monitored amendments relating to the draft legislation that were offered as well, and expressed our concerns on one in particular that was offered by Representative Takano.
AHCA is following any VA provider agreement related language impacting SNFs.
