(1) streamlining of FAAs certification activities and effective use of ODA program;
(2) expansion of FAAs current UAS roadmap reporting requirements with annual publication and opportunity for review and comment by stakeholders;
(3) support design, certification and operations standards for complete integration of commercial UAS into the NAS;
(4) appropriate policies to maximize commercial UAS market growth;
(5) full utilization of test sites; and
(6) federal preemption of certain state and local laws governing UAS.

--Lobbied to strengthen commercial item procurement for DoD acquisition policy in the FY17 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), H.R. 4909 and S. 2943.
--Lobbied for language and full funding in the FY 17 NDAA (H.R. 4909 and S. 2943) and Defense Appropriations (H.R. 5293 and S. 3000) bills for:
(1) Handheld Manpack Small Form Fit (HMS) acquisition strategy for continued LRIP extention and FRP;
(2) The Air Force's F-35 to include funding for the Helmet Mounted Display System (HMDS);
(3) The Navy's Tactical Combat Training System (TCTS II) to use a Common Range Integrated Instruction System (CRIIS) as a solution;
(4) The Navy's CH-53K program;
(5) Increase funding for the Defense Production Act Title III;
(6) The Army's UH-60M procurement accounts to increase funding and Authorization for the UH-60M for the Active Army (H.R. 5293 and S. 3000) and ARNG.
(7) The Air Force's B-21 funding (specifically, its acquisition contract type.)
--Lobbied for inclusion of commercial item purchasing policies and intellectual property rights in the FY17 NDAA to include: clarifying the definition of a commercial item, market research, value analysis, limit the flow down of government clauses to commercial contracts.
