H.R. 6800, Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions Act (HEROES Act), the bill responds to the COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) outbreak and its impact on the economy, public health, state and local governments, individuals, and businesses.
H.J. Res. 76: Congressional Review Act resolution would disapprove of the rule submitted by the Department of Education relating to "Borrower Defense Institutional Accountability.
S.J. Res. 56: Congressional Review Act resolution would disapprove of the rule submitted by the Department of Education relating to "Borrower Defense Institutional Accountability.
S. 867 and H.R. 3512: The Preventing Risky Operations from Threatening the Education and Career Trajectories of Students Act of 2019 (PROTECT Students Act), the bill proposes to change the current 90/10 to 85/15 and count U.S. Department of Defense Tuition Assistance and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Post-9/11 GI Bill education assistance in the numerator.
H.R. 3487: The PRO Students Act sections on changing the current 90/10 rule to 85/15 and count veterans' education benefits in the numerator; marketing restrictions; and establishment of an oversight committee specific to proprietary institutions; borrower defense
H.R. 3369, a bill that changes the 90/10 rule to 80/20 and includes federal funds such as military tuition assistance and veteran education benefits.
S. 608 and H.R. 1430: The Court Legal Access and Student Support Act of 2019, would provide that chapter 1 of title 9 of the United States Code, relating to the enforcement of arbitration agreements, shall not apply to enrollment agreements made between students and certain institutions of higher education; and to prohibit limitations on the ability of students to pursue claims against certain institutions of higher education.
S. 839 and H.R. 3497: The Jumpstart Our Businesses by Supporting Students Act of 2019, would extend Federal Pell Grant eligibility of certain short-term programs. The bill would change the definition of "Institution of Higher Education" to include proprietary institutions.
S. 720 and H.R. 2833: CFPB Student Loan Integrity and Transparency Act of 2019, would require the student loan ombudsman of the Department of Education to provide student loan data to the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, and for other purposes.
H.R. 3179: Protecting Our Students and Taxpayers Act of 2019, would amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 regarding proprietary institutions of higher education to protect students and taxpayers.
H.R. 4206: Student and Taxpayer Protection Act, would amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to include requirements for programs of training to prepare students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation.
S. 3114: 90/10 Accountability for All Act, would require that all institutions of higher education participating in student financial assistance programs under title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 meet certain revenue requirements.
S. 2857: Protect Veterans' Education and Taxpayer Spending Act of 2019, would amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to count military and veterans education benefits as Federal educational assistance, and for other purposes.
H.R. 748: Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), the bill responded to the COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) outbreak and its impact on the economy, public health, state and local governments, individuals, and businesses.
H.R. 6201: Families First Coronavirus Response Act, the bill responded to the COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) outbreak by providing paid sick leave, tax credits, and free COVID-19 testing; expanding food assistance and unemployment benefits; and increasing Medicaid funding.
H.R. 6074: Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, The bill provided $8.3 billion in emergency funding for federal agencies to respond to the coronavirus outbreak.
H.R. 133 Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021, Making consolidated appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2021, providing coronavirus emergency response and relief, and for other purposes.

The fiscal Year 2021, Labor-HHS-Education funding, the bill is legislation to appropriate federal funds to the Department of Labor, Human and Health Services, and Education. The funding also provides funding for operations, personnel, equipment, and activities at these federal agencies.
H.R. 266: Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act, the bill responds to the COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) outbreak by providing additional funding for small business loans, health care providers, and COVID-19 testing.
H.R. 7617: Defense, Commerce, Justice, Science, Energy and Water Development, Financial Services and General Government, Labor, Health Human Services, Education, Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development Appropriation Act, 2021, a $1.3 trillion appropriations package that included six different spending bills. The Fiscal Year 2021 spending bill encompassed the following appropriations bill in the package: Defense, Commerce, Justice, Science, Energy and Water Development, Financial Services and General Government, Homeland Security, Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development Appropriations Act.
H.R. 8337: Continuing Appropriations Act, 2021 and Other Extensions Act, the bill provides continuing FY2021 appropriations to federal agencies and extends expiring programs that address health care, surface transportation, agriculture, veterans benefits, and other issues.
FY 2022 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies, the bill would appropriate funding for the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and related agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2022, and for other purposes.
Met with White House officials to discuss the White House paper titled "Higher Education Act Reauthorization Principles" and it's inclusion into the administration's top policy priorities.

Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020, the bill provides flexibility for the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in caring for homeless veterans during a covered public health emergency, to direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to carry out a retraining assistance program for unemployed veterans, and for other purposes.
H.R. 7111 and Senate companion version, Veterans Economic Recovery Act of 2020, the bill would direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to carry out a retraining assistance program for unemployed veterans and for other purposes.
H.R. 6322, Student Veteran Coronavirus Response Act of 2020, the bill addresses education programs and assistance for veterans during the covered period from March 1-December 21, 2020.
