H. Res 12- this resolution expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to ensure the continuation of its 6-day mail delivery service. The association endorsed this resolution.
H. Res 28-This resolution Expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to ensure the continuation of door delivery for all business and residential customers. The association supports this resolution.
H. Res 54-This resolution Expresses the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States Postal Service should take all appropriate measures to restore service standards in effect as of July 1, 2012. The association supports this resolution.
S.1742-"Rural Postal Act of 2015" legislation introduced to improve rural mail service and delivery, place protections on rural post offices, and treat postal employees fairly. The NRLCA did not take a position on this bill.
S. 2051-"Improving Postal Operations, Service and Transparency Act of 2015"-legislation reforming the way the Postal Service operates by eliminating the pre-funding, Medicare Integration, using postal specific assumptions for calculating FERS obligations, arbitrator language, new rules for keeping postal facilities and post offices open, and FECA reform. the NRLCA opposes this bill.

H.Con.Res.27 - Establishes the budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2016 and setting forth appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2017 through 2025. Introduced in the House, the association had concerns about the cuts to federal and postal employee benefits and pensions.
S.Con.Res.11 - An original concurrent resolution setting forth the congressional budget for the United States Government for fiscal year 2016 and setting forth the appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2017 through 2025. Introduced in the Senate, the association was involved in postal related amendments that were considered.
HR 2995-"Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act, 2016" this legislation contains a provision that requires the Postal Service to delivery mail 6 days per week. In addition, an amendment was passed to restore service standards to July, 2012 levels. The NRLCA supports 6 day mail delivery provision and the service standards amendment.
Senate Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act, 2016-The NRLCA supports that mandatory 6 day mail delivery language is included once again in the Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee on Appropriations

H.R. 1563-"Federal Employee Tax Accountability Act of 2015", this legislation would fire any federal or postal employee who is seriously delinquent on their taxes, while also making any individual with tax delinquent problems ineligible for federal employment. The association opposes this legislation.

S. 1647-"DRIVE Act"-a multi-year surface transportation bill to fund the highways. A proposal was submitted to change the G fund interest rate formula in the Thrift Savings Plan as an offset/"pay-for" for the highway bill. The NRLCA opposes this proposal.
