NETWORK strongly supports the following bills: the Support Our Election Workers Act which responds to the critical need to improve the support and retention of election workers; the Protecting Election Administration from Interference Act which responds to the ongoing need to expand protections for election workers and strengthens protections for election infrastructure; the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the Freedom to Vote Act.

NETWORK strongly supports the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act which includes the following individual bills:
1. Make critical investments in social determinants of health that influence maternal health outcomes, like housing, transportation, and nutrition.
2. Extend WIC eligibility in the postpartum and breastfeeding periods.
3. Provide funding to community-based organizations that are working to improve maternal health outcomes and promote equity.
4. Increase funding for programs to improve maternal health care for veterans.
5. Grow and diversify the perinatal workforce to ensure that every mom in America receives maternal health care and support from people they trust.
6. Improve data collection processes and quality measures to better understand the causes of the maternal health crisis in the United States and inform solutions to address it.
7. Support moms with maternal mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
NETWORK also supports passage of a fully refundable, inclusive, monthly Child Tax Credit to reduce child poverty in America.
NETWORK supports supplemental spending for WIC and for childcare services.

NETWORK strongly supports the reauthorization of the Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the U.S. governments signature global health effort in the fight against HIV, which has saved tens of millions of lives saved over the past 20 years.
NETWORK urges the Biden Administration to include the following provisions in all new trade agreements: facility-specific, rapid-response labor enforcement tools and include penalties for labor rights violations; binding requirements for countries to meet their Paris climate obligations backed with facility-specific enforcement tools; right to healthy and culturally appropriate food produced through sustainable methods and local inputs and removal of rules on intellectual property rights that prevent farmers from saving and sharing seeds; no new digital trade rules that include secrecy guarantees that restrict pre-screening or general review of algorithms or source code for racial biases, gender biases, labor law violations, and other potential abuses.

The Catholic faith teaches that healthcare is a human right and thus all people deserve access to quality, affordable care.
NETWORK supports MOMNIBUS legislation to end the Black Maternal health crisis in America.
NETWORK rejects the Limit, Save, Grow Act which would put over 10 million Medicaid expansion enrollees - more than 1 in 5 of all Medicaid enrollees in expansion states - at risk of losing Medicaid coverage under the policy. New requirements would cause many low-income adults to lose coverage due to bureaucratic hurdles that dont reflect the complexity of peoples circumstances, as failed experiments in several states show.

NETWORK Lobby strongly supports increased vouchers for families and individuals to access housing in FY 25 Appropriation packages.
NETWORK Lobby strongly supports "Yes in God's Backyard" (S. 3910) which would provide technical assistance and grants for faith-based organizations, institutions of higher education, and local governments to increase the supply of affordable rental housing, and for other purposes.
NETWORK Lobby supports the Home Act which creates a public option to meet the needs of people and communities that arent being served by the private market. These new options would be supported by a housing development authority, which will function as a public bank and developer and work directly with state, local and Tribal governmental agencies, mission-driven nonprofits, community land trusts and public housing authorities to build, rehabilitate, and maintain millions of sustainable, permanently affordable homes.

NETWORK strongly supports the MORE Act which provides robust sentencing reform for those incarcerated for the sale of marijuana. We also support the bill's provisions which invest in communities targeted in the "war on drugs."

NETWORK supports removing ISDS from all bilateral and multilateral trade treaties.
NETWORK supports review of the US-Peru trade agreement related to ensuring wood products imported into the United States are not illegally logged.
NETWORK supports inclusion of strong, binding and enforceable labor, environmental and human rights provisions in any Critical Mineral Agreement based on the Inflation Reduction Act.
