Keystone XL Pipeline: Advocated for the granting of a Presidential Permit for the pipeline.
HR 1938 The North American - Made Energy Security Act - Advocated for the Passage of the legislation. This is a bill that would help to expedite the permitting process for the Keystone XL Pipeline.
H.R. 1861; Infrastructure Jobs and Energy Independence Act of 2011 - Advocated for passage of this bill, to authorize U.S. drilling
royalties to fund infrastructure.
Monitored the progression of S. 1932, A bill to request the secretary of state to act on a permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline, and H.R. 3548 the North American Energy Access Act; Supported passage of both bills.
Advocated the introduction of language on ANWR similar to H.R. 3407, no bill introduced.

Worked to secure passage of: H.R. 658 & S 223 the FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act.
S. 1813, Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act.
H.R. 2887 - A bill to make modifications to the Board of Directors to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). Lobbied in opposition to the bill, and in support of retaining the MWAA Board's current structure. A component of the legislation was contained in H.R. 2112 - the Consolidated on Further Continuing Appropriations Act, 2012.
S. 1660 - American Jobs Act of 2011 - Lobbied for the introduction and passage of the legislation to enact the President's proposal to create jobs and strengthen the economy.

H.R. 2587 - The Protecting Jobs from Government Interference Act - lobbied against this bill that would alter the NLRB's power to enforce Labor Laws. S. 1599 Labor HHS Appropriations Bill, opposed efforts to include in this appropriations bill language to alter
the NLRB's power to enforce labor laws.

S. 1596 - Transportation, HUD Approps for FY 2012 - Opposed the Inclusion of the language from H.R. 1824, a bill to make modifications to the Board of Directors to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). Lobbied in support of retaining the MWAA Board's current structure.
Supported Sec. 191 of H.R. 2112 - The Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act, which was negotiated language to
amend the MWAA Board structure. T-HUD Appropriations was combined with H.R. 2112.
Obama Plan for Economic Growth - No bill introduced - opposed cuts to federal employee benefits.
Lobbied Super Committee - Against pay freeze / increased pension contributions to a federal employee created in S. 365 - no bill introduced.

H.R. 1169 / S. 1893 - The National Guard Technician Equity Act. This bill would provide National Guard dual-status technicians improved rights unders federal laws regarding workplace matters. LIUNA lobbied for passage of this bill, including its inclusion in the Fiscal Year 2012 National Defense Authorization (NDAA), which authorizes programs at the Defense Department each year.
