Contacts in opposition to legislative or executive actions that seek to add to the U.S. Constitution the language of the "Equal Rights Amendment" that was submitted to the states in March 1972, with a ratification deadline that expired in March 1979. Opposition includes but is not limited to H.J. Res 35 and S. J. Res. 15 (proposing re-submission of 1972 ERA language to the states, this time without a ratification deadline); H.J. Res. 38 and H.J. Res. 6 (purporting to nullify the ratification deadline contained in the joint resolution submitted to the states in 1972, retroactively); and H. Res. 272 (expressing the view of the House of Representatives that the language of the 1972 ERA submission should be made part of the U.S. Constitution).

Contacts in opposition to "EACH Woman Act" (H.R. 1692/S. 758), a bill to mandate coverage of abortion without limitation in Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP, and other federally funded health insurance program, to nullify the laws in effect in about half of the states that restrict coverage of abortion in health plans sold on the Obamacare exchanges, and to nullify all other state laws or policies that "inhibit insurance coverage of abortion by private health plans."
Contacts in support of H.R. 2010, the Second Chance at Life Act to ensure that a woman seeking a chemical abortion is informed that it may be possible to reverse the intended effects of the abortion if the woman changes her mind.
Responses to inquiries regarding the Ultrasound Informed Consent Act (H.R. 634), which provides that prior to an abortion, a provider must perform an obstetric ultrasound on the pregnant woman; provide a simultaneous explanation of what the ultrasound is depicting and display the ultrasound images so that the pregnant woman may view them.

Contacts in opposition to H.R. 1425 the State Health Care Premium Reduction Act of 2019 due to appropriations of funds for states to use for cost-sharing reductions and reinsurance without necessary "Hyde Amendment" protections to prevent the funds from flowing to insurance plans that cover elective abortion.
Contacts regarding advance care planning legislation (not introduced) to (1) ensure the legislation provides for adequate oversight regarding the creation of advance planning materials, websites, etc. in order to protect against the materials being crafted in a way that persuades patients to reject treatment they might otherwise choose, (2) ensure that there are not Federally funded unmonitored practitioner consultations could lead to patients forgoing treatment they would otherwise have wanted, (3) ensure that there are not adverse changes to the Assisted Suicide Funding and Restriction Act, (4) include oversight for grant approval for physician orders for life-sustaining treatment, and (5) protect the right of states to ensure informed consent in choosing and rejecting treatment.
