Regulations under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (HR 3590) related to calorie disclosure on products sold through vending machines (Federal Register/ vol. 78, No. 5/Page 1376 Tuesday, January 8, 2013) Food Safety Modernization Act (21 USC CHAPTER 27) proposed regulations restated to issue of food safety of imported food. Regulations for Competitive Foods sold in schools pursuant to the Nation School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program: Nutrition Standards for All Foods Sold in Schools as required by the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, (Pub.L. 11-296) and First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's
Move Campaign. Meetings held with Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services in the USDA. Tracking issues related to the US Food Code and its application to the micro market channel. Specifically, discussion surrounding state health department regulations, which mostly reflect the US Food Code related to food safety and micro markets and the Council For Food
Protection. FY 2015 House Agriculture Appropriation Bill language related to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (HR 3590) calorie disclosure rules for vended products. Specifically House Appropriations Amendment to the Agriculture and Rural Development Appropriations Bill which provided report language regarding front of pack and front of vending machine labeling. Tracking US Food Code regulations and Micro Market discussions with FDA's food and veterinary medicine division.

L. 104-121, 110 Stat. 857 (1996) (codified as amended at 5 U.S.C. 601-612 (2000) as it relates to review of effects of proposed regulations on small businesses. H.R. 2542 the Regulatory Flexibility Improvements Act of 2013 (RFIA) as it related to reforming the regulatory process to ensure that all federal agencies appropriately consider the impact of their rules on small businesses across America. This specifically relates to pending FDA Calorie Disclosure regulations as required by the Affordable Care Act.
