Signed letter in support of the goal of providing new visas for PhD and Masters graduates in STEM fields and to provide a clear path to US Lawful Permanent Resident status for STEM students. Expressed concerns with H.R.6429, STEM Jobs Act of 2012, which seeks to eliminate the Diversity Visa Lottery (DVL) and does not include the biological sciences in the STEM categorization. Also concerned with new F visa classifications. Expressed support of H.R. 6412, Attracting the Best and Brightest Act of 2012, which would not eliminate the DVL or create new F visa classifications.
