● Monitor congressional hearings/markups/CR/NDAA/USCG reauthorization legislation for ocean-related issues and report to Client; provide USTR report on forced labor in the seafood industry
● Ongoing monitoring and reporting on numerous marine/oceans issues including: status of marine sanctuaries in the region, Hill staff changes, NOAAs 2023 IRA spend plan, MMPA issues; fishery disaster reform; VIDA status; OSW energy development & impacts on whales; WA-AK chinook salmon status and SRKW population issues; MSA reauthorization, Hill staff changes, NOAAs 2023 IRA spend plan, National Seafood Strategy, ESA Alaska King Salmon petition, Russia seafood import ban and NOAAs NSG proposed rule
