--Lobbied in opposition to aviation user fees.
--Lobbied against amending sections 331-336 of P.L. 112-95 regarding Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
--Lobbied against Sec. 119E of S. 1243 imposing one-year moratorium on issuance of regulations on integration of UAS into the national airspace until FAA submits a report related to privacy implications of UAS.
--Lobbied for clarification of export control reform regulations relating to optionally piloted vehicles (OPVs).
--Lobbied for selection of University of North Dakota as UAS test center.
--Advocated for FY 14 Appropriations for FAA at the President's Budget Request level in the THUD Appropriations bills, (S1243 & H.R. 2610) and in the Consolidated Appropriations Act (H.R. 3547) including resources for FAA certification and UAS activities, NextGen Programs (ADS-B, Datacomm, and PBN activities).
--Advocated for continuing to streamline the FAA's certification activities and use its ODA program effectively.
--Support for H.R. 1848 and S. 1072, the Small Airplane Revitalization Act.
--Support for completion of DHS repair station rulemaking.

--Lobbied against Sequestration and FY 14 reductions in the DoD topline dollar number and especially its procurement and RDT&E accounts pursuant to Budget Control Act of 2011.
--Lobbied in opposition to aviation user fees and to change the depreciation schedule for general aviation aircraft.
--Lobbied against PBGC Premium increase in Bipartisan Budget Agreement.
--Advocated for FY 14 Appropriations for FAA at the President's Budget Request level in the THUD Appropriations bills
(S. 1243 and H.R. 2610) and in the Consolidated Appropriations Act (H.R. 3547), including resources for FAA certification and UAS activities, NextGen Programs (ADS-B, Datacomm, and PBN activities).
